This policy document is updated as business conditions change.

Internet service at home
The company does not provide or support company sponsored broadband services at an employees home. It is the employees responsibility to procure these services directly for their personal purposes. The company will provide software- and hardware-based VPNs that connect to the company over this circuit. For more information, see Work from home equipment prerequisites.
Generally, when managed business-grade Internet service is ordered, it comes with installation and support that requires access to the premises on demand or at the direction of the company. Because of this, managed Internet service is not allowed to be installed on employee premises as neither party is insured against damage to home and personal property that maybe caused by the install, support or removal of service.
Obtaining software and services
Please consult with your immediate manager on whether the service or software is appropriate for your job function. Licensing is provided based on job function and title. For specific information on Microsoft 365 software and services, please see Policy: Microsoft 365 default license assignments. Have your manager open a ticket to make a request for licensing.
